2011 Teton Bead Retreat Terms and Conditions

Retreat Cost
The posted retreat cost includes lodging, class tuition and kit fees. Not included in the posted price is airfare to and from the destination, transfers, shuttles, travel and medical insurance, alcoholic beverages, and meals as noted. All prices are quoted in US dollars.

Payment
A $250 deposit is required to reserve your retreat space. Half of remaining balance is due on March 30th and balance on May 30th if not paid in full at time of reservation.

Retreat Cancellation/Refunds
If you need to cancel your retreat, you must do so in writing. The following cancellation fees will apply:
  • 30 days or more prior to retreat, full refund minus 5% handling fee.
  • Within 29 days of the retreat, amount paid minus 10% handling fee and any other nonrefundable pre-paid fees for hotel or other services.
If i-bead.com cancels due to insufficient registrations, a full refund will be made.

Air Travel
i-bead.com does not book airline travel.

Spouse/Partner Travel
A spouse or partner is welcome for the entire retreat, but must be prepared to do something while classes are in session. They may participate in other functions such as after class gatherings, group dinners and meal packages at the posted retreat rates.

Single Supplement
All rooms are based on double occupancy. Roommates for doubles are selected at reservation time, or if you need a roommate, we will do our best to help you find one. If by 60 days prior to the retreat, none can be found, the single supplement will apply. Please make it known if you have difficulty or special requests in this regard.

Classes
In developing each retreat’s classes, our teachers put a lot of thought into what will make a memorable class. Some classes do require basic beading techniques. If you have never done a specific technique required for the class, it is highly recommended you find a local class to at least get the basics of that stitch, otherwise expect to spend time just learning the stitch before you can get to the actual class project.

Activity Level / Location
This retreat is at high altitude (7,860 ft above sea level) and is not handicap accessible to wheelchairs. All of the classrooms and some of the accommodations are located up or down some stairs, there are no elevators. Make certain you are comfortable in meeting any noted activity level.

Beading Tools
We highly suggest bringing your own Ott Lite or task lighting (and extension cords if you want to bead in your room at night), bead mats and basic beading tools and supplies of your preference, e.g. big eye needles, Silamide versus Nymo, Fireline etc. And especially any READING GLASSES, MAGNIFIERS that you use when beading. We will have supplies for sale, and possibly some extra lighting for use in class only, but probably not enough for everyone.

Class Project
The retreat price includes all the supplies for the primary class project. Teachers will be possibly be brining other more expensive variations that you can purchase for just the difference in kit cost. They will also have other project kits for you to choose from if you finish early and wish to start another.

Special Needs
Every effort is made to accommodate your needs. Please let i-bead.com staff know if you require a special diet or have other considerations.

Travel insurance
i-bead.com highly recommends purchase of travel insurance to protect from retreat cancellation costs should a medical emergency occur.

Responsibility
We have no special knowledge of unsafe conditions, safety problems, health, or weather hazards that may be encountered on our retreat other than the high altitude location.
