You'll be staying at the Teton
Mountain View Lodge or the Best Western Teton West. A little
more rustic and bland than the resort lodges, but much closer
to in-town dining. Plus less expensive! We'll be gathering in
their common room for class.
For those who are not attending classes, there is LOTS to
do...Summer in the mountains is made for outdoor adventure. The
entire Targhee- Yellowstone- Teton area is laced with trails
- a short wildflower walk or all-day hike, it's up to you.
For beaders attending the classes, there are a few
single rooms available, but the rest are double occupancy. The
difference is between $50 and $100 so it's not too expensive
either way. Pricing can be found on the FAQs
page and on the Registration
Form.
Breakfast and lunch are now included in the price listed.
Dinner is still your choice. There are a variety of restaurants
in the main city of Driggs just 4 miles away. Transportation
can be arranged if you do not have any. |
Head up to Grand
Targhee and take a rejuvenating ride up the chairlift for the
views of the Grand Teton. Mountain biking at Grand Targhee is
exhilarating as you rock and roll up and down through meadows
flush with wildflowers and cruise down well-groomed single track.
Take your turn at disc golf near the base village. They also
have a climbing wall is a blast. But so is fly fishing, golfing
and white water rafting. Luckily, the days are long enough to
